Richard D. Smith, DDS

Dr Smith is a Graduate of The Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry. He also earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in History and Bachelor of Science in Pre-Dental from North Carolina State University. Dr Smith takes continuing education classes with a focus on Cosmetic Dentistry and Invisalign. When not working he enjoys spending time with his family and serving as a Deacon at New Hope Christian Church

Karen L. Hutchison, DMD

Dr Hutchison is a graduate of the University of Mississippi Medical Center, School of Dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Phi Kappa Phi Dental Fraternity, Roanoke Valley Dental Society; and the Big Lick Study Club. Dr Hutchison enjoys working with children, and sees most of the pediatric patients. She is also licensed to practice in Mississippi.

Andrew D. Levine, DDS

Dr Levine is a graduate of Emory Dental School in Atlanta GA and graduated in 1976. He has spent over 30 years practicing in Florida before joining our team. He has spent in excess of 300 continuing education hours learning the latest restorative; implant and cosmetic dental techniques and can offer these to his patients. He and his wife Toni, a Roanoke native, have settled in the area to be with her family.

Sariah L. Richardson, DDS

Dr Richardson is a graduate of the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. She also earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Bringham Young University.  Dr Richardson takes several hours of continuing education each year to make sure she stays up to date with the latest in dentistry.  She is very active in her church, volunteers at the Roanoke Valley SPCA, and enjoys spending time with her Husband and two dogs.

Hygienists

Brenda Dillon

Brenda has been a member of our team since 2001. She takes several hours of continuing education courses each year to make sure she stays up to date with the constant changes in oral health. She received her certificate in Dental Assisting from Virginia Western Community College in 1983. In 1986 she received her Associates in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Virginia Western Community College in 1986. She is an active member in the American Dental Hygienists Association. In her spare time she enjoys swimming, flower gardening and drawing. She also enjoys spending time with her daughter Kacy.  

Joan Carnera

Joan joined our team in 2009. She received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of TN in 1983. She has been practicing in the Roanoke Valley since 1989. She loves her job, and she is great with our patients. Joan resides in Botetourt Co with her husband Doug and their 2 daughters Samantha and Brooke. She enjoys spending time with her family when she is not working.

Ashley Hoose

Ashley joined our team in 2009. She is a Registered Dental Hygienist and she graduated from Virginia Western Community College in 2006. She is committed to promoting oral health and preventing disease. When Ashley is not working she spends her time with her Husband Jason and Daughter Ava. She also volunteers in a Bible Education Work.

Chris Whitefleet

Chris joined our team in July 2010 she Graduated from Virginia Western Dental Hygiene Program in May 2010. She was a dental assistant for 11 years. So she has many years experience in all aspects of dentistry. Chris was born and raised in Watertown SD and she spent 5 years in the US Marine Corps. When Chris is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband Mark, and her 2 boys Bill and Matthew.

Assistants

Loriann Webb

Lori Ann has been a member of our team since 2002. She is Dr. Smith’s main assistant. She is very meticulous in her work as an assistant, and takes her job very seriously. She will make sure all of your dental needs are met. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her family, son Evan, and reading when she has time.  

Wanda Mitchell
 

Wanda joined our team in 2007. She is our Hygiene Assistant. She loves her job and staying busy. She is always helping anywhere she can. We are lucky to have her. She has been a dental assistant since 1986. She loves life, dentistry, and people. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her family.

Tammy Easley

Tammy joined our team in 2008. She is Dr Hutchison’s main assistant. She has been in the dental field since 1996. She is a graduate of Patrick Henry Community College, and she was trained at UNC Chapel Hill to make Temporary Crowns and OSHA.  She enjoys her job, and it shows she is always smiling. When Tammy is not working she is spending with her Husband and 4 handsome boys.

Cindy Richards

Cindy joined our team in 2009, she is Dr Levine’s 2^nd assistant. She enjoys assisting and getting to know out patients. She grew up in Rockbridge Co and moved to the Roanoke Valley 4 years ago. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 sons, and her dog Mollie. Cindy also enjoys gardening, and cooking. She is also very active in her church

Debra Boitnotte

Debbie has been with our team since 2003. She loves her job as our Sterilization Tech. She makes sure all of our computers and cameras are properly functioning. She enjoys spending time with her husband, sons, and her many animals.

Front Desk

Sarah Jones

Sarah began working at Hunting Hills Family Dentistry in May 2006. Her position as the Office Manager involves scheduling, assisting with financial arrangements as well as the vast array of office management duties. She is also an active member with The American Association of Dental Office Mangers. She attended Freed Hardeman University where she studied business management and education. Sarah is one of the many friendly faces you will meet in our office. She lives in Roanoke with her husband Robbie and two sons Jacob and Aaron, also her four legged child Lili Grace. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, shopping, cooking and playing with her children.

Shirley Bowers

Shirley has been a member of our team since 2004. She is a huge asset to our team. She will greet you with her warm smile and great personality. Our patients and staff love her.  She has been in Dentistry for over 30 years. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her dog Mollie. She also loves to head home to TN when she can.

Dawn Jones

Dawn has been a member of our team since March 2010. She will help you with all of your dental insurance needs. She enjoys meeting and working with patients.  Dawn was raised in the Roanoke Valley and she is a graduate of Salem High School and attended VA Western. When Dawn is not working she enjoys spending time with her husband and son.
